Hi and welcome.

Your cateye looks good.

Rock Look

Rock Look

Sometimes you just need to let a little bit of wild spirit out. The other day, I needed my inner indie rocker/90's alternative rocker/new wave fanatic to shine through. My makeup came from my soul that morning. It just showed up on my face. It was a lot, but I needed it that day.

I tousled my hair on purpose to try looking cooler. I felt like my hair needed to be messy to be truly rock n roll.

Aren't I a dork?

It was nutty. But I loved it. It was just what I needed.

I probably had The Cure stuck in my head, but regardless, after carrying this look through the day, I was cured.

It was a lot, but I needed it that day.

And just like I used to do on my teenage record-store-job budget in the 90's, it was 100% a drugstore cosmetics look. I could have had pocket change leftover for a Weezer CD...

But then my kids would ask me, "mom, what is that round thing?" and I would have said "a CD! It plays music but only if you put it in a special machine... oh, nevermind. Use it as a mirror."
