Bigger, Badder, Blacker: Total Perversion Mascara

I've written obsessively about mascara before and consider myself a bit of a casual expert on building a good lash. I thought I found my mascara holy grail, then I tried something new.
I'm a huge believer in face primer and eye primer, but had felt lash primers added too much chalky whiteness to the lash to be worth minimal thickness or the time it took to dry an extra layer. Then I discovered Urban Decay Subversion Lash Primer. It's rich and coats evenly, adds huge volume, and is easily coverable by mascara pigment (no white peeking through).
Bigger, badder, blacker, thicker, longer, stronger. Who could resist?
This gave an even bigger lash than I was used to with Urban Decay Perversion Mascara. It deserved a different eyeliner - a deeper, darker khol. Enter YSL Couture Kajal Eye Pencil - perfect for the job. Thus, my new mascara trifecta was born.
Perversion Mascara guarantees "bigger, badder, blacker" lashes and Subversion Lash Primer promises "thicker, longer, stronger" lashes. Bigger, badder, blacker, thicker, longer, stronger. Who could resist?
For this look I admittedly started with a liquid eyeliner formula with a smaller tip to create the cat eye shape. Then I smudged it out a bit and darkened it with the YSL Couture Kajal. The shadows used are from the Makeup Geek Foiled Eyeshadow Collection.
